The Objective

Park City Handyman Services (PCHS) relied on their Houzz website to connect them with potential clients seeking property repair and management services in the Park City, Utah area. Their DIY Houzz website offered a single page with a description of their services. Still, the Houzz site was expensive, so with their contract about to expire, PCHS decided to update their web presence. PCHS wanted a website that truly represented who they are and showcased their services in a format they could be proud of.

New Website Requirements

  • Description of the distinct service categories PCHS supports, in a crisp, easy to navigate format.
  • Portfolio of project photos that visually tell the PCHS story.
  • Capture of lead data in Mail Chimp CRM ‘Contact Us’ form.
  • Feature local service awards and other affiliations.

The Solution

Searching for a web developer who could develop a website and work with their set of DIY portfolio images, Kimber Lee, Managing Director of PCHS connected with Suzanne. Like many small business providers, their marketing budget was tight, but investment in an enhanced web experience was essential. In order to meet their budget needs and get the site completed before the contract for their existing site expired, Suzanne opted to work with an out-of-the box web template, that she would customize to their needs.

Crafting the Bootstrap template, Suzanne created a lean information hierarchy that housed the content related to PCHS services in an intuitive way. Creating the project portfolio to showcase PCHS services was more challenging. The photos were a hodge-podge of sizes downloaded from employee phones, and were often dimly lit. Suzanne used Photoshop to improve the visual quality of the images and slice them to equal dimensions to tell a cohesive visual story.

Suzanne also worked with the PCHS team to on board a Mail Chimp account and integrate it into the website via a contact form, so the team could seamlessly grow their database with inquiries from the website and cultivate leads for future business.

The team is thrilled with their website. And use it as a tool to not only collect new clients, but educate existing clients on the possibilities for their projects.

MP Concepts exceeded our expectations and took our cookie cutter website and turned it into a unique representation of our company. Suzanne LeGette listened to our needs and suggested much more - all within our budget and time line. I would highly recommend MP Concepts for any business needing a new website or wanting a facelift on their existing site!
